The scholarship recipient must be a student-athlete, recommended by the head coach and/or governing board, who has been a staple to the baseball program and demonstrates the following:

1. Discipline: The recipient of this scholarship must exhibit a strong commitment to their education and personal growth.

2. Hard Work: The recipient of this scholarship must demonstrate a strong work ethic and a determination to excel not just on the field but academically in their chosen field.

3. Selflessness: The recipient of this scholarship must have a proven track record of contributing to their team, community, and helping others without expecting anything in return.

4. Integrity: The recipient of this scholarship must uphold high ethical standards and show they are dedicated to making a positive impact on society
